Change Maximum Transmission Unit Size
Use this option to change the MTU size. The Windows default value is only good for cable modem or higher connection. Therefore for all of you that still use dialup connection, try to set the MTU to 576.
Change Default Receive Window Size
Receive Window determines how much data that your computer will be prepared to receive. You can do some experiments to find out the best setting for your system.
*The default setting is 8192.
Enable Black Hole Detection
Use this option to enable Black Hole Detection over your TCP/IP connections. It applies to all of your TCP/IP stacks.
*It is recommended to disable this option.
Enable MTU Auto Discovery
This option causes TCP to discover MTU automatically over the path to a remote host.
*It is recommended to enable this option.
Change The Default Time to Live Setting
Use this option to determine how long the computer should wait before deciding the destination web site does not exist.
*It is recommended to enable this option. Recommended time to live value is 128.
Change Session Keep Alive
Use this option to keep your download session from timing out.
*It is recommended to enable this option. Recommended keep alive value is 600.
Enable Selective Acknowledgement Support
Use this option to enable selective acknowledgement support.
*It is recommended to enable this option.
Optimize the Max Sockets Value
Use this option to increase you Internet connection performance.
*It is recommended to enable this option. Suggestion value: 32 (min) and 1020 (max).
Optimize the Max Connect Value
Use this option to increase you Internet connection performance.
*It is recommended to enable this option. Suggestion value: 2 (min) and 128 (max).
Optimize the NDI Cache Size
Use this option to set the size of NDI cache that is used to store source routing paths.
*It is recommended to enable this option. Suggestion value: 6 for dial up and 32 for higher connections.
